HOLLYWOOD AND BROADWAY STARS GATHER FOR "A SING-IN FOR AMERICA"
TO BENEFIT THE AMERICAN RED CROSS DISASTER RELIEF FUND AND FAMILIES OF THOSE AFFECTED BY THE RECENT TRAGEDIES

Los Angeles - Hollywood and Broadway stars will gather together for "A Sing-In For America" benefiting the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and families of those affected by the recent tragedies, in a concert with Masters of Ceremonies John Ritter ("The Dinner Party") and Amy Yasbeck ("Wings"), to be held on Monday, October 1, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. at the Wadsworth Theatre, 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Brentwood, CA. Conceived and produced by Broadway stars James Barbour ("Beauty & The Beast, Jane Eyre") and Hershey Felder ("George Gershwin Alone"), with Kay Cole ("A Chorus Line"), Anthony Crivello ("Kiss of the Spider Woman"), as well as Richard Willis (Broadway Producer and Co-Operator of the Wadsworth Theatre) and Joel Zwick (Veteran Broadway, Television and Film Director), all contributions from this Audience Sing-Along Family Event will be donated to The American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Music is food for the soul, and, as such, audience members attending this concert will be encouraged to Sing-Along with featured artists in selections of beloved American songs emulating the American spirit. Besides Felder, Barbour, Cole and Crivello, other Hollywood and Broadway stars performing will include: Fred Applegate ("Beauty & The Beast"), Kevin Bailey ("The Lion King"), Eileen Barnett ("Nine"), Michelle Blakely ("The Twilight of the Golds"), Mike Burstyn, ("Barnum!")Michael DeVries (Hello, Dolly!), Fiama Fricano ("Ragtime"), Marcia Mitzman Gavin ("The Who's Tommy"), Harry Groener ("CATS"), Kelly James ("Les Misérables"), Diane Ketchie ("Phantom of the Opera"), Dale Kristien ("Phantom of the Opera"), Marguerite MacIntyre ("City of Angels"), Michael Maguire ("Les Miserables") Amanda McBroom ("The Rose"), James Mellon ("West Side Story"), Amy Pietz ("Caroline in the City"), Sandra Purpuro ("Grease!"), Alyson Reed ("Cabaret"), Dori Rosenthal (Soprano), Ray Saar ("Phantom of the Opera"), Linda Purl ("Tom Sawyer"), Rex Smith ("The Pirates of Penzance"), Alan Thicke ("Chicago"), Elmarie Wendel ("3rd Rock From The Sun"), Alicia Witt ("Cybill"), Fred Willard ("Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me"), JoAnne Worley ("Laugh-In") and Stephanie Zimbalist ("The Baby Dance"). In addition, the casts from "Enter The Guardsman" and "The Boswell Sisters," (The Old Globe Theatre , San Diego, CA) will perform. Musicians performing include James Vukovich (Piano), Jens Lindemann (Trumpet, The Canadian Brass) and Jennifer Snow (Piano).
